Ribbon
Ribbon provides you with a way to quickly access important functions.
As it is a standard with ribbon-based interfaces, Full Convert ribbon is context-sensitive. This means that only actions that have sense in actual context are visible.
| • | 'New project' creates a new compare & sync data project. |
| • | 'Open' is taking you to the folder from where you opened your last session. In the drop-down menu, last 5 projects are listed. |
| • | 'Save' is saving the current project - or if it was a new project , it will open folder to give the name and to save the project in the last used folder. |
| • | 'Save as' is useful for saving eventual changes and differences in the current project under different project file. |
| • | 'Edit project' is taking you to the beginning of the Project Session wizard. You can modify or change any step of the project. |
| • | 'Close' is ending the current project session, regardless if the changes were saved or not. |
| • | 'Compare is starting the comparison - it will not modify any data. |
| • | 'Synchronize' will present you the number of sync actions needed before you click the button to actually synchronize the data. You will be able to recompare after sync. |
| • | 'Options' offers variety of options using which you can customize the application to your liking. They are explained in detail in Options chapter. |
| • | 'Open help files' button takes you, well, here... :-) where we hope that you will find all the answers to your questions related to the functionality. You can always go online to seek for latest informations. |
| • | 'Contact support' - If you have any unanswered questions or need any assistance, you can contact our support team by e-mail which will be happy to assist you. |
| • | 'Visit website' is direct link to DataSync page where you can find information about latest features and improvements in latest version of the the application, find online tutorials, as well as online help. |
