Project Wizard

Project Settings wizard enables you to intuitively, in a step-by-step fashion, define all required information needed to set up conversion process.

Defining the project

Here you will name your project, write an optional description, and choose your project type, based on the active licenses you have.

Currently, the only supported project type is MySQL to SQL Server. Of course, this will be greatly expanded soon, as we finish our other translations

wiz-info

Connecting to databases

Here you can fill-in the source database connection info. If your database is on a local machine, you can omit the server field. Please note that we will very soon add a possibility to read source database from a database dump file.

wiz-source

Here you can fill-in the target database connection info. If your database is on a local machine, you can omit the server field (providing your SQL Server is a default instance). Please note that we will very soon add a possibility to write the target database to a SQL  file directly.

wiz-target

Finishing the wizard will display the database contents, translate all objects in a second or so, and mark invalid translations, if any. You can create the target database right away.
