All compute experiences within Microsoft Fabric—including Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Power BI, and Real-Time Analytics—are tightly integrated with OneLake.

This integration allows users to access and process the same datasets across different tools without duplicating data or creating multiple copies in separate storage systems.

Microsoft Fabric also supports mounting existing Platform as a Service (PaaS) storage accounts directly into OneLake. This capability enables organizations to share and analyze existing datasets instantly without requiring data migration or duplication.
